“You can love her with everything you have, but she still won’t belong to you. She will run wild with you, beside you with every step, but let me tell you something about women who run with wolves, their fierce hearts don’t settle between walls and their instinct is stronger than upbringing. Love her wild or leave her there.”
― Nikki Rowe
What does it feel like to trust your instincts? Are you able to confidently take action based on your instincts? Do you listen to your gut and the inner language that your heart is speaking or do you rely on your mind and beliefs to tell you what you can and cannot accomplish? Are you living a life filled with personal limitations because you have bought into what your mind is telling you about you?
Joy, love, and prosperity are what we all want, and I personally believe is why we are here; to create a beautiful life. This requires a level of commitment and intention to change the way we see the world, and how we interact with our thoughts.
It is difficult and can feel impossible to change the way you think, your thoughts have been a part of you for a long time, and it becomes necessary to rewire the programs in your head. What wires together fires together, and our mind is so accustomed to thinking the same thoughts that negative patterns have been deeply ingrained in our psyche. Do we really have a choice not to change the way we think if we want to be happy?
What happens when you don’t trust your instincts? My experience has been that when I haven’t, I spend a ridiculous amount of time beating myself up. This is painful as I recognize my choice to disregard my own “knowing” what is best for me. My personal tendency has been to rely on others to tell me what to do instead of acknowledging the higher truth in me.
How about you? Are you listening to your inner voice or allowing the bullshit of conditioned negativity in your head you have been so accustomed? How are you holding yourself back? Are you taking responsibility for your decisions by trusting your own gut?
No one knows what is best for you other than you. Trust your inner knowing! Give yourself the chance to be your own best friend and take that leap of faith to believe in you, and the love you express to yourself in this way will bring you an inner strength and self-assurance beyond your wildest imagination. Take the time to “hear” the calling of your soul and follow your instincts. You will love where it takes you. So much love…RJ
